Dead Country Releases Self-Titled Debut EP

Hit Single “Euro Thrash” Receiving Airplay On KROQ

DEAD COUNTRY has released their self-titled debut EP Dead Country April 13, via Storefront Records. The four-piece alternative rock band, based in Los Angeles, includes Nick Long, singer/guitarist; Jonny Black, guitarist; Patrick Solem, bassist; and Jarrod Alexander, drummer.

Lead singer Nick Long, who formed his first band when he was 11 years old, created DEAD COUNTRY in late 2008 after he moved back to L.A. from Switzerland.  Influences such as Nirvana, Fugazi, Jawbreaker and Rites of Spring propel the band’s thought-provoking lyrics, rhythmic melodies and driving sound. The band’s new EP, recorded at the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606 in Los Angeles, features four tracks including the hit single “Euro Thrash,” which has been receiving early airplay from famed Los Angeles radio station KROQ.

DEAD COUNTRY, who toured with Sunny Day Real Estate in 2009 just finished up a three week tour with The Bronx which took them through the East and Midwest.
