POP SUPERSTAR USHER TO PERFORM ON “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE” TONIGHT ON FOX

Pop superstar Usher will sing his latest hit, “OMG,” during the first live results show of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE airing tonight, Thursday, June 17 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), on FOX. Also on tonight’s show, acclaimed dance duo Karine Plantadit and Keith Roberts will take the stage to perform a piece from Twyla Tharp’s smash Broadway musical “Come Fly Away.”

During the show, the three dancers with the lowest number of votes will be announced. The finalists in the bottom three will perform solo routines with the hope of convincing the judges to keep them in the competition. The judges then decide which dancers remain and which one is eliminated.

With more than 45 million records sold worldwide, Usher is undoubtedly one of the hottest names in pop music today. Last year, he earned the distinction of being the “Top Hot 100 Artist of the Decade” with 13 consecutive Top 20 singles, and his sixth album, “Raymond v Raymond,” has already spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. In the 18 years since he was discovered on “Star Search,” Usher has earned five Grammys, four American Music Awards, four BET Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, four World Music Awards, a Blockbuster Music Award, three R&B Hip Hop Conference Awards, nine ASCAP Awards, eight Soul Train Music Awards, a staggering 17 Billboard Music Awards and countless other international accolades.
