FOX PRESS RELEASE: BREAKING IN premieres on Wednesday, April 6th at 9:30/8:30 Central, following American Idol. We have a seven episode run for this season, which will bring us through May 18th. The show will be on after Idol for all seven weeks. Contra Security, a high-tech security firm that takes extreme – and often questionable – measures to sell its protection services is corporate America’s answer to “The A-Team,” giving clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. In the opener, Contra’s man of mystery owner, Oz, blackmails his newest recruit, computer hacker Cameron, to join his team. Cameron quickly learns that cracking into state-of-the-art security systems is a lot easier than dealing with his co-workers, including the alluring Melanie, prank-pulling Cash and competitive Josh in the “Pilot” series premiere episode of BREAKING IN airing Wednesday, April 6 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. CHRISTIAN SLATER took the time to chat with us about BREAKING IN, his new show on FOX that is premiering on April 6th after AMERICAN IDOL. He plays the boss man, “Oz” and I have seen the pilot and I love it. I have been a fan of Christian’s since the first time I saw “The Legend of Billie Jean”. Over the years he has made the most memorable films and some of my absolute favorites are; “Heathers”, “Gleaming the Cube”, “Tales from the Darkside: The Movie”, “Pump Up the Volume”, “True Romance”, “Interview with the Vampire”, “Very Bad Things” and “Dolan’s Cadillac”. I am so happy to have Christian back on television, on a weekly basis and playing such an intriguing character. You will love him in BREAKING IN.
