THE TOMORROW PEOPLE Advance Review – “Girl, Interrupted”

988725_566101843445302_1095625760_nThis Wednesday, with the third episode of The Tomorrow People, entitled “Girl, Interrupted,” we see the series picking up steam as we learn more about the other Tomorrow People. When Stephen (Robbie Amell) telepathically picks up a classmate’s harmful intentions, he finds out exactly how the other Tomorrow People feel about helping humans. We get to see some of Cara’s (Peyton List) back story, which may be why she feels the way she does about humans. Meanwhile John (Luke Mitchell) enlists Stephen in a plan to connect TIM to the ULTRA mainframe in an attempt to find more emerging Tomorrow People. With Stephen struggling with his classmate’s conflict, as well as being caught between the evil plans of Jedikiah  (Mark Pellegrino) and his new friends, things are really picking up.

And yes, we finally get to see more from Russell (Aaron Yoo), who is sure to be a fan favorite. The series is moving in the right direction as it’s starting to give some history of the other Tomorrow People, while we get to watch Stephen develop his own character as a homo superior. Will Jedikiah be able to use Stephen to find and kill the other Tomorrow People? Will Stephen be able to continue working for ULTRA as a double agent? Will Astrid (Madeleine Mantock) ever find out that Stephen is something more than human?  Stay tuned to the Tomorrow People for all the excitement!  Watch The Tomorrow People on Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
