Showtime stand-alone streaming service and Showtime Anytime launch on Samsung TVs

14681833_10157628052765486_123729586947942008_nToday, Showtime Networks announced that Samsung will now offer the SHOWTIME stand-alone streaming service and its authenticated app SHOWTIME ANYTIME on select 2015 and all 2016 Samsung smart television models. Samsung TV users are now able to subscribe to the SHOWTIME streaming service at showtime.com/samsung for a monthly price of $10.99, and new subscribers will be offered a 7-day free trial at sign-up. In addition, the SHOWTIME ANYTIME app will now be available on the same Samsung models for those who subscribe to SHOWTIME through participating television providers, giving subscribers access to thousands of  hours of programming on demand.

With SHOWTIME, consumers have on demand access to entire seasons of award-winning original series including HOMELAND, BILLIONS, RAY DONOVAN, THE AFFAIR, SHAMELESS and the upcoming series TWIN PEAKS. Subscribers will also have access to hundreds of hit movies, specials, provocative documentaries, hard-hitting sports programming, comedy along with the live SHOWTIME East and West Coast feeds.

Samsung, the number one TV manufacturer worldwide for the past 10 years, makes discovering content easier and more intuitive than ever with the Samsung 2015 and 2016 Smart television lineup. Featuring a new, simple and fast interface, consumers with Samsung accounts can quickly access everything from live TV to online video.  Samsung TV users can see their favorite content options at a glance by integrating set-top-box and VOD content experiences directly into the TV user interface, making switching from cable to streaming to any other input as easy as changing the channel.
