DREW MICHAEL, the comedian’s first HBO special, debuts SATURDAY, AUG. 25 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). Jerrod Carmichael, who has starred in two specials of his own on the network, directs.

The special will also be available on HBO On Demand, HBO NOW, HBO GO and partners’ streaming platforms.

DREW MICHAEL follows him as he navigates his fears, anxieties and insecurities in an unconventional stand-up setting. Michael’s darkly comic, stream-of-consciousness monologue raises questions of identity, narrative, self-awareness and the limits of the medium itself. Suki Waterhouse also appears in the special.

Drew Michael has written for “Saturday Night Live” and recorded a stand-up special for the cable series “The Half Hour,” as well as the stand-up albums “Lovely” and “Funny to Death.”
Suki Waterhouse stars in the upcoming feature “Assassination Nation,” and was most recently seen in “The Bad Batch.”
Jerrod Carmichael headlined the HBO stand-up specials “Jerrod Carmichael: Love at The Store” and “Jerrod Carmichael: 8.”

DREW MICHAEL is executive produced by Jerrod Carmichael, Drew Michael, Ravi Nandan and Chris Storer; produced by A24 Television.
