PAWN STARS
History Channel at 10PM EST
All New Season starts on Monday November 30, 2009
PAWN STARS returns Monday November 30th at 10/9c on HISTORY!
PAWN STARS takes viewers inside the doors of the only family-run pawnshop in Las Vegas, where three generations of men from the Harrison - grandfather Richard, son Rick and grandson Corey jointly run the business, with clashing and camaraderie every step of the way. This family lives and breathes the pawning business, using their sharp-eyed skills to carefully assess the value of items their colorful customers bring in, objects ranging from the obscure to the truly historic. Their pawnshop shelves are filled with an eclectic array of items— each with its own unique story and past.
Season two first episode review by Lena Lamoray
If you think a television show about pawn brokers is not for you then I challenge you to watch one episode, just one and you will be hooked. Trust me! I felt the same way until I decided to watch an episode and now it is must see tv for me. The all new season of PAWN STARS starts out with a bang! If you thought the first season was fun wait until you feast your eyes on what the second season has in store for you. The first season introduces you to the characters both in front of and behind the counter and in the second season you get more of a glimpse inside of the life of the HARRISON family known as THE OLD MAN (Richard Harrison), THE SPOTTER (Rick Harrison), and BIG HOSS (Corey Harrison). With every episode of PAWN STARS you get a look inside the psyche of human interaction, a mini history lesson and a side of reality. My favorite part of the show is when they take in an object that looks like trash and have it restored to more than pristine condition. The people they work with do a tremendous job in the restoration process. You have to see it to believe it. A rusty rotting vintage Coca-Cola machine and vintage gas pump were restored to their former glory. I must also mention the Gibson L7 that was restored to its former burst beauty. Those are all highlights of the first season so you can imagine how much fun the second season is going to be. I can promise you that the premiere of the second season will have you soaring into stress relieving goodness. I have a feeling that grandparents everywhere will get more help cleaning out their attics, garages and basements from their family members after this show premieres.
