Vans Warped Tour Dates July 20 – August 5
July 6, 2010 – Dirty Little Rabbits, the five-piece band from Johnston, Iowa, release their full-length self-titled debut today on The End RecordsDirty Little Rabbits may be best known as the brain child of Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan of Slipknot, but their secret weapon is front woman Stella Katsoudas.
The UK’s RockSound Magazine gave the Rabbits’ debut a 7 out of 10 and said “The supremely versatile vocal stylings of Stella K are particularly striking …enticing you to bust out your best disco moves before committing murder on the dance floor,” while Alternative Press bestowed 3 ½ stars on the Rabbits’ debut, saying, “never boring or predictable, this album adds up to an engagingly off-kilter listen.”

Dirty Little Rabbits Stella, Shawn, Michael Pfaff (organ/keys), Jeff Karnowski (bass), and Ryan Martin (guitar) – first made a splash on the scene when they released their SIMON EP last year. The band’s positive, female-centric viewpoint defies expectations and as Revolver advised in their 3 ½ star review, “You may not hear Slipknot in these haunted, lurching tunes, but the fingerprints of the Doors, Dresden Dolls and Mr. Bungle are apparent. And that combination is just weird enough to work.”
Fans can catch the Rabbits live this summer when they appear on the Van’s Warped Tour(see current dates below) and view the band’s video for “Professional Hit” here.
