FOX PRESS RELEASE:  BREAKING IN premieres on Wednesday, April 6th at 9:30/8:30 Central, following American Idol.  We have a seven episode run for this season, which will bring us through May 18th.  The show will be on after Idol for all seven weeks.  Contra Security, a high-tech security firm that takes extreme – and often questionable – measures to sell its protection services is corporate America’s answer to “The A-Team,” giving clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. In the opener, Contra’s man of mystery owner, Oz, blackmails his newest recruit, computer hacker Cameron, to join his team. Cameron quickly learns that cracking into state-of-the-art security systems is a lot easier than dealing with his co-workers, including the alluring Melanie, prank-pulling Cash and competitive Josh in the “Pilot” series premiere episode of BREAKING IN airing Wednesday, April 6 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BIN-101) (TV-TBA)  Cast: Christian Slater as Oz; Bret Harrison as Cameron; Odette Annable as Melanie; Alphonso McAuley as Cash.  Guest Cast: Michael Rosenbaum as Dutch; Trevor Moore as Josh; Jennifer Irwin as Creepy Carol.

BREAKING IN “Pilot” Series Premiere Advance Review, Airing 4/6/2011

BREAKING IN delivers!  I am a huge Christian Slater fan, so of course I was going to check it out no matter what but it honestly is one of the best comedy pilots that I have ever screened.  Christian plays Oz, the intriguing owner of Contra Security that you are dying to learn more about.  Oz is manipulative and refreshingly cheeky.  I can’t wait to see how his character develops and to find out exactly what is lurking underneath all that unbridled enthusiasm.  I can see a touch of J.D. from “Heathers” in Oz.   BREAKING IN was created by Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon.  Adam Sandler, Adam F. Goldberg, Doug Robinson, Jack Giarraputo and Seth Gordon serve as Executive Producers.  BREAKING IN is from Happy Madison Productions and Sony Pictures Television.
