THE LEAGUE returns tonight and they brought backup, Seth Rogen guest stars as Dirty Randy. I hate sports but I love this show. Taco, played by the stunning Jon Lajoie, is my favorite character and Taco has been very busy exploring the world, more on that later. Ruxin (Nick Kroll) is celebrating the reign of Ruxin. I can’t stand Ruxin and I am hoping that Taco accidently kills him sometime in the near future and writes a song about it. Ruxin becomes a one hit wonder with “The Shiva Bowl Shuffle.” “The Lockout” – The terrible reign of Ruxixn as League Champion continues while the guys devise a grand plan with Rafi and Dirty Randy (Seth Rogen) for Andre’s final Sacko punishment.
My favorite line of the episode comes at Andre’s (Paul Scheer) expense courtesy of Ruxin, wait I guess Ruxin does have a purpose, so we can hold off on the snuff episode, for now. Ruxin politely asks Andre, “Do you see yourself as a rapist who does magic or a magician who also likes to rape?” The sweetest thing is that Andre actually has an answer for him. The witty writing carried out by sensational characters is what makes The League stand out. Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Marcus Schaffer know exactly what works and thankfully they don’t just cross the line, they invented a new line to cross.
Taco, with the help of some special brothers, spends some time in a far away land and becomes a star. He is so beloved that they even shot alternate endings to satisfy everyone. Tune in tonight for a first hand look at Taco’s travels. He even invents a new word.
Jenny (Katie Aselton) and Kevin (Stephen Rannazzisi) have added an adorable addition to their family and Jenny stumbles on something that could benefit her, too bad she has been beaten to it.
It is draft pick time and Taco shares his “authentic” box with the gang. Ruxin proves once again that he is a witch and makes everyone uncomfortable. Who has matches?
A simple trip to the library turns into a fun adventure with one of my favorites, Rafi (Jason Mantzoukas). Dirty Randy (Seth Rogen) makes an appearance and he sees stars when Taco walks into the room. If you ever wondered what Taco would do at the library, well tonight you will get your answer. Dirty Randy brings a lot to the table but even he has limits as to what he will do, so watch tonight and find out what those limits are. All I will say is that Andre is not going to enjoy his final Sacko punishment.
I love this show and “The Lockout” has something for everyone, so don’t miss the season three premiere of The League tonight on FX.
