I attended the Northeast Motorcycle Expo in Boston, MA over the weekend. Kim Coates and Mark Boone Junior from Sons of Anarchy were there both days signing autographs and meeting with their fans. It was great to watch fans react to seeing them in person. I witnessed several grown men run up to the booth screaming, “Tig and Bobby,” like little schoolgirls at their first rock concert. Kim and Boone could not have been sweeter. I was lucky enough to get a chance to interview them in person about Sons of Anarchy, so make sure you check out what they had to say about the show.
The Northeast Motorcycle Expo featured some of the best motorcycles, dealers, vendors and merchandise. You can even get advice on how to get the help you need if you’re ever involved in motorcycle accidents. You can spend hours just walking around and taking in everything that the show has to offer. A lot of the motorcycles that were featured were pure works of art, check out your financing options to see if you could own one yourself. Or if you have one and you are strapped for cash, you could find out how much it could cost if you wanted to part with it – see how much could you get for your second hand motorbike? If I were to go on ingenuity alone, Copper Mike’s motorcycles were my favorite. His bikes are award winners, and one glance at them is all you need to know why. The Shadley Bros. were another one of my favorite booths. They are based out of Whitman, MA, so be sure to check them out.
Jody Perewitz, the “fastest woman on wheels,” was in attendance. I unfortunately, didn’t get a chance to meet her but she is certainly a fan favorite. She is listed as a special guest for all of the Kev-Marv Production shows for this year. Glenn Hughes was also a notable guest that was on-hand to meet with fans and sign his new book.
There were a ton of exciting vendors selling motorcycle parts, sunglasses, leather goods, and so much more. My favorite purchase was at the booth selling official Sons of Anarchy merchandise, I stocked up.
The Northeast Motorcycle Expo is definitely worth checking out. They have several throughout the year, so check their website regularly to see when the next one is happening. I’m bummed I missed the one in CT with Michael Ornstein, “Chucky,” from Sons of Anarchy. I really enjoyed the show, and I can honestly recommend it to everyone. I want to personally thank Kev-Marv Productions and Ad Strategies for putting together a fantastic show that had something for everyone.
