American Horror Story: Coven returns tonight with an amazing episode featuring two very special guest stars – Stevie Nicks and Lance Reddick. You are not going to want to miss this one. “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks” – Fiona attempts to out the new Supreme with a visit from Stevie Nicks. Cordelia learns the truth about Hank and the Witch Hunters. Madison tries to eliminate her competition for the Supremacy. Written by James Wong; directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.
If you think your credit card of doom bill is bad just wait until you get a look at Marie’s (Angela Bassett) nightmare of a bill that is due. That’s bad for her but great for us because her creditor is Lance Reddick. The Fringe star plays Papa Legba. Papa is doing a lot more than preaching in this episode. You can always count on this show for a fulfilling visual experience.
The truth about Hank (Josh Hamilton) and the Witch Hunters comes out and it leaves a bitter taste in Fiona’s (Jessica Lange) mouth. “He hated your ass.” Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) hurts in every way. Fiona insists that they find the hive.
Fiona schools Misty (Lily Rabe) on “the power of the throne” but Misty doesn’t trust her. Does anyone trust Fiona? Should they? While Misty is busy contemplating something really magical happens. What do you think that is? How do you think Misty reacts when she sees Stevie Nicks? Place your bets now.
Fiona may be heartless but her answer to one of Madison’s (Emma Roberts) many, many selfish questions was delightful. Someone had to put Madison in her place.
Myrtle (Frances Conroy) provides a little comic relief while she is “trying” to help Cordelia put the pieces back together. Myrtle is wacky and I love her for it. I do miss Frances’ gorgeous wings from last season.
Nan (Jamie Brewer) will have you cheering tonight. Jamie delivers one of her best performances. I really want Nan to be the Supreme.
Speaking of the next Supreme, who do you think the next Supreme will be? The question is still out there. Is Cordelia in the running? I wouldn’t be surprised if all her suffering and realization gifts her with powers that she didn’t know she had. Bring on the Seven Wonders. I feel like we should expect the unexpected.
“Be a sport” and enjoy tonight’s terrifying episode. Sometimes alliances are scarier than conflicts. If you think that Fiona has taken things too far already, you just wait. This show is phenomenal. Stevie Nicks fans are really going to love this episode.
