HBO received 14 Golden Globe nominations, the most of any network, for the upcoming 74th annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 8 in Los Angeles.
HBO’s Golden Globe nominations this year include:
* 3 nominations for “The Night Of”: Best Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television and 2 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Riz Ahmed, John Turturro).
* 3 nominations for “Westworld”: Best Television Series – Drama, Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama (Evan Rachel Wood) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Thandie Newton).
* 2 nominations for “Game of Thrones”: Best Television Series – Drama and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Lena Headey).
* 2 nominations for “Veep”: Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
* 1 nomination for “All the Way”: Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Bryan Cranston).
