With the arrival of Summer, They Might Be Giants have many reasons to celebrate. The band will play Washington state’s Sasquatch! Music Festival this Memorial Day weekend and Bonnaroo on June 13. The band recently played two sold out benefit kids’ shows in the Boston area as well, with proceeds going to Boston By Foot (www.bostonbyfoot.org). The band has played a series of successful kids’ shows in support of Here Comes Science, their 2009 release.
In addition, They Might Be Giants’ album No! is up for a Nickelodeon “ParentsConnect” Award for Best Kids’ Music CD. Visit here to vote for the band and show your support!
Released in September 2009, Here Comes Science has received praise across the board for its unique and exciting fusion of rock, education and humor. They Might Be Giants is continuing their 2010 tour through this fall, including a number of family shows.
