Gasoline Silver Releases New Video for Their First Single, “Indianapolis

Gasoline Silver’s Ron Franklin to Play With the Legendary Peter Case in LA

From Gasoline Silver’s anticipated s/t debut album (Victorian Pictures, September 7th) comes the video for “Indianapolis,” the energetic, blues-infused single, setting the band’s tone of old school influences with a modern twist.

The video itself creates an intimate setting by placing the band in a classical looking recording studio reminiscent of early recording days. While some shots are straight on, letting the music shine through, other shots echo the ‘60s influences of the song. Dressed to the nines, singer/guitarist/harmonica player Ron Franklin stays the main focus throughout the video, from the fast paced guitar shots to the emphasis on his expressive facial features and harmonic movements as he sings he heart and soul into the song. Drummer Andy Hertel and keyboardist Josh Misner, continually compliment the sound and spirit of the song throughout the video and complete the passionate energy of the band as a whole.
With his prominent, harmonic melodies, Franklin evokes the likes of Nashville Skyline era Bob Dylan, among other influences, but all together, everything from the toe-tapping drum beats to guitar riffs and keyboard synths that give Gasoline Silver a new edge.
