Basketball superstars Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade will lend their voice talents to an upcoming episode of THE CLEVELAND SHOW airing this winter on FOX.
In the “A Short Story and a Tall Tale” episode, CLEVELAND (Mike Henry) and DONNA (Sanaa Lathan) celebrate Valentine’s Day with a trip to Los Angeles after scoring courtside seats to the all-star basketball game featuring Garnett, Howard, James, Nash, Nowitzki, O’Neal and Wade. Caught up in the excitement, Cleveland gets rowdy and talks smack to the players from the sideline throughout the game. The basketball champs, feeling hurt, seek revenge by paying a surprise visit to Stoolbend and putting Cleveland in his place.
Additional guest stars stopping by during the sophomore season of THE CLEVELAND SHOW include Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Tony Hawk, Robert Rodriguez and cast members from the hit series GLEE. Also, T-Pain, will.i.am, Carl Reiner, David Lynch, Will Forte and Jamie Kennedy will have reccurring roles this season.
In the season premiere episode, airing Sunday, Sept. 26 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Kanye West makes a return guest voice appearance as KENNY WEST, a single dad and struggling rapper whom Cleveland takes under his wing in an attempt to prove his own prowess after receiving some surprising news about his childhood basketball camp nemesis. Together, Cleveland and Kenny write, record and perform a new hit single, “Be-Cleve in Yourself.” The track burns up the charts and ignites Kenny’s new rap career, but leaves Cleveland behind in the dust.
