Turner Classic Movies to Pay Tribute To Filmmaker Blake Edwards Monday, Dec. 27
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will feature a night of five memorable films by legendary director Blake Edwards on Monday, Dec. 27. Edwards died Thursday at age 88.
“From Operation Petticoat to the wonderful Victor/Victoria, Blake Edwards made watching movies a consistently entertaining and enjoyable experience,” said TCM primetime host and film historian Robert Osborne. “But he could also emotionally touch you with a dramatic story such as Days of Wine and Roses or a romantic tale like Breakfast at Tiffany’s. We’re very proud at TCM to pay tribute to this extremely versatile filmmaker.”
