Tonight on Justified – Boyd says some things that he’s going to regret; Dewey gets schooled; and Raylan plays house with someone special. Three episodes in and this is already becoming one of my favorite seasons of Justified. You are not going to want to miss a single minute. Adding to my excitement, it was announced that the gorgeous Mary Steenburgen will be guest starring on the show. I can’t wait. “Good Intentions” – Raylan is king for a day in the seized mansion of a notorious mob accountant, while Boyd tries to regain his stranglehold on the Harlan heroin market.
“Dewey Crowe’s whorehouse ain’t gonna have no fatties running around.” You have to love Dewey (Damon Herriman) for all of his horribly insensitive rants. He will not be winning any awards for his political correctness. At least he agreed to “hire that big bitch back.” Last week’s episode had me in stiches. Dewey’s sincerity is priceless. Harlan would be so boring without the Crowes. Darryl Crowe Jr. (Michael Rapaport) spends a little time schooling Dewey and letting him in on the importance of a special kind of appeal. Darryl definitely gives him some sage advice. Just when Dewey thinks that he has an advantage, Darryl squashes it. Poor Dewey. Darryl is famous for asking the tough questions. Michael Rapaport is a fantastic addition to the cast. I was so upset when The War at Home ended. I’m looking forward to all of the mischief that Darryl is going cause this season. Someone has to keep Dewey on his toes.
Boyd (Walton Goggins) confronts Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) about what went down last week. Boyd doesn’t know whom he can trust. Duffy has a hell of a time getting to the bottom of the situation at hand.
Art (Nick Searcy) has the magical gift of knowing exactly when to call Raylan (Timothy Olyphant). Allison (Amy Smart) causes Raylan to experience a schoolboy moment. You will chuckle.
Boyd needs “wrap it up” music when he visits Ava (Joelle Carter) in prison. Didn’t you love the description of him in last week’s episode? Is that lawyer ever going to be able to take those headphones off?
Rachel (Erica Tazel) tells Raylan what he needs to hear. I love her tough love approach. Rachel always speaks the truth and frankly, there isn’t enough of her wisdom in the series. We deserve more Rachel. Yes, I’m putting it out there.
Boyd and Dewey have an insightful conversation about difficult times.
Mara (Karolina Wydra) wants to be taken on a journey. It seems she has more in common with the people around her than even she imagined.
Things get really hairy when a package arrives. All I can say is next week is going to be intense. I love this show. I’m going to miss it when it’s over. We are going to lose both Sons of Anarchy and Justified. What on earth are we going to do with ourselves? I think that would be the perfect time for The Venus Van Dam Show. One can dream, right? Watch Justified tonight.
Justified airs Tuesday nights at 10 on FX.
